The AI assistant speeds this up by suggesting the most appropriate category based on the account name, type, and common patterns. What used to take an hour can be done in minutes.

Check My Figures Before the Bank Sees Them

Tax return figures give misleading ratios, and the problems are easy to miss. On the ESSENTIALS Dashboard, including on the free Essentials plan, the Check my figures button looks over a year of your figures and tells you what to fix. It runs a set of fixed checks first:

• Expenses that have not been sorted into cost types
• Depreciation still at the tax return figure
• Assets still at tax values rather than market values
• Loans that look like money moved between your own entities
• Negative equity
• Fewer than three years of figures

The AI then adds up to six more observations, such as lines that are not farm costs at all. Everything shows under "What we noticed", each with a link to the screen and year it is about, and a check clears once you have dealt with it. A check can take up to fifteen seconds, and the screen says so while it runs.
